a couple hundred kilometers south of rio, not too far from São Paulo, lies this idyllic upon most idyllic town. while only there for one night, it sunk in deep to my psyche. this is one place i want to go back to spend more time.

this cafe was right next door to the hotel i stayed at. it, like everything in the city was amazingly idyllic. my hotel reeked of old-world charm and ambiance.

the town was designed so that at high tide the ocean would flood the city streets, leaving them clean upon recession. thus necessitating an occasional bridge across a seemingly dry street.
