insanity of all insanities. this title has nothing to do with any of the pictures here, nor are any of picture particularly related to anything, least of all insanity. Hence the title, is meaningless, and quite insane. (it is keeping with my growing series of "instruments of..." [have you noticed?]

would any site on NY be complete without the unoriginal,
typical picture of a long line of yellow taxis?

the flags would seem to indicate a
different gravity from the rockefeller center.
most people take pictures
with the buildings going straight up and down. hmmmm.

in front of THE plaza hotel. kind of a boring picture
really, not sure why i'm including it here.

subtitled: i walk the line
broklyn bridge (i took out 80%+ of the color from this picture
to make it almost black and white, and then over saturated the yellow line)

(sorry, couldn't resist the bad pun-playonwords, when naming
this picture of the wtc reflected in granite)

this is what the wtc looks like at night from below a
reflective pedestrian bridge. the original picture was quite grainy due to
taking the photo at 1600iso, but upon resizing for faster download times, it
lost most of the grain. not sure which version i like better (grain vs. no
grain) but decided to include this version.
