the most beautiful thing in the world
what beauty can be found in death? in the strict sense,
none. but there would be no life without death, and that in itself lends
beauty at least to the concept. we all hate to see loved one's die, and
shudder to think of ourselves passing, but what if no one... nothing ever died?
maybe i'm sick for finding the beauty in a rotting carcass, maybe there is
beauty that can be found in these images. at the very least it paints a
true picture of the harsh desert.

semi-scattered in the morning mist, this horse never
made it back home.

all smiles
(show some spine aspect)
death affords one the ultimate
freedom from worries, why not smile?

painful struggle (BW long leg aspect)

last gasp, (haunt my mind - ghost aspect)
Editor's note: have you ever laid down next to a rotting animal, face and nose
40 centimeters away, and tried to hold your breath to avoid the foul stench?
no wonder most people wouldn't want to travel on vacation with me. :-) -- and
have you ever edited pictures of dead horse on a plane? people walking up
the isle give you such a funny look. :-)
