sculpture inspired by hans christian's fairy tale. i was told that the statue was sure to disappoint all, so i made it a goal to find some way to capture the little mermaid that didn't disappoint. this is not the picture...see the københavn page for that one. this is the view as it really is. hundreds of people photographing and climbing all over the poor bronze statue.
