Koprivshtitsa

The ultimate in tranquility.  One of the few towns you'll ever visit with no taxis (and no need for them), and where horses almost outnumber cars.  A few hours east of Sofia, Koprivshtitsa is known for several things.  A relaxing mountain town atmosphere, traditional architecture, and being the home to Todor Kableshkov, the man responsible for starting events moving which ultimately lead to the war removing Turkish control of Bulgaria.
